In 1994, after serving in the Air Force for 20 years, Richard Maxey began a career in management in Sacramento, California. He worked in financial services, building a team of 45 advisors, before going independent and starting IncomeMax in 2010. Maxey's Security America Agency manages assets and income from the perspective of financial planning, and today manages $1.5 billion in assets—growing at the rate of $2M/week. He currently has advisors spread out over California in Sacramento, Milpitas, Chico, Mammoth Lakes, Santa Rosa, Arroyo Grande, Roseville, Paradise, Martinez, Clovis, Susanville, San Jose, Los Gatos, Novato, Modesto, Corona, Pismo Beach, and Tracy, as well as advisors in Indian Hills (CO), Sterling (CO), Reno (NV), Houston (TX), and Grants Pass (OR).
